Not as hilarious as last night with Essendon with them going on about how it was so good for the members of Essendon to come to the footy and watch such good footy as it was so fast. I bet they felt really good."The Dog days are over, The Dog days are gone" Florence and the MachineComment

All the commentators are biased towards Geelong. Of course I want to win but as long as we don't get thrashed then they have done well considering who is out of the team. Go Barlow!!!!Comment

i just wish i was able to view it.
being in WA not coverage except on net through radio..
i even subscribed to Setanta Sports in US, only to find they blocked my IP address being based in Australia....
Damn broadcasters...
So it is hard to tell how the intensity was in the 2nd qtr compared to 1st qtr, that got us back into the game, but as some said need to convert all opportunities, a good 3rd qtr will put doubt in the cats, if we let them dictate like the 1st their confidence will push them further afield in the 4thComment

Just the television commentary. There were some very interesting things that they've obviously entered the game with in their mind.
They show the ladder, Sydney has a higher percentage than Geelong despite having the 1 loss... "Geelong play a very attacking style of footy. Sydney will be playing their tightchecking, contested brand of footy. A clash of two styles!"
Huge 1st quarter by Geelong "They've blown Sydney away in this quarter with their free running play"
Huge 2nd quarter by Sydney "Well it's a tight tussle, Sydney putting the clamps on"
2 Cats players push Swans in the back in a marking contest, ends up as a free kick to Ted "Well the free kicks were there"
Davis pushes a Cat in the back "Do you think his coach will be dissapointed he tried to take the easy way out there?"I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

On 10 Walls and Lane continue to dribble their usual anti-Swans diatribe. It's more anti-Goodes than anything: Lane wants free kicks paid against him at every opportunity but not noticing Ling holding onto Goodes."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk
