    Lance Franklin

Not only he has a chance to kick 100 goals this year, he is fast becoming my bet for the Brownlow Medal. He is starring tonight.

He'd have to perform that consistently week in, week out if the umps are going to award him the Midfielders' Medal.

Agree. Gablett's the one I'd rather have. Buddy won't be allowed to do that well against us.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

                    LRT? Craig Bolton?

Everyone was musing nervously that we have nobody to match up on Brown either. We completely towelled him up.

The key to stop him getting too involved is to stifle the way the ball gets down to him. The Swans are the best team in the league I reckon as closing down and frustrating other teams when they are trying to bring the ball downfield.

Lance is a different proposition. Fast, agile and can kick a goal from anywhere within F50m or just outside. He ran a ring around B2 last time they matched up..... and LRT on Franklin

But you're right, the Swans need to shut down their midfield.

we will stop franklin by stopping his delivery. Every game ive watched him play this year the hawks just run in numbers and get the ball to him high and quick. But presuming we beat the hawks we would of no doubt limited that delivery and shut him down.

for the record he is an awesome player dont get me wrong, but i cant stand him

God love buddy, he's the only one scoring in my dream team!!
He's a fantastic player. I'd lurv to see him wearing red & white.

fabulous player and would love him in our forward line - but he still has the potential of becoming a prize knob! (I dont know what it is about him but I can feel it in my water that the knob potential is there)
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
