Fine young player - good to see his attitude as well as his skills.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I think I may have said it somewhere else, but this bloke is what we wanted from Schneider, a strong midfielder with goal smarts.

I really liked the game from Cannonball but the one he missed was crucial as were all the misses from Goodes O'Keefe and others with a lot more experience.

If successful this season (playing every senior game physically possible), then I have no doubt he will have the full confidence to deliver on his enormous potential in 2009.

I have that Vic Metro v SA game from 2004 burned into my head where he kicked 4 goals in a half from the midfield, he was like a shorter but fitter Stuart Dew at his peak, delivering from all over the park.

                .
Agreed, it was a momentum changer. I feel confident whenever he has a shot and it was big bummer he missed.
