With that pathetic performance against the Doggies, they still remain second last and their percentage has dropped to 66.92%

    What happened to their "dynasty"?
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

What a pathetic club they are, no soul, just a WA Corporation with a bunch of blind supporters.

I love that they are failing, and to think, they were certain they would be at the top for years and years. I have no sympathy for them.

        Here is their local newspaper!

Look at the slant on the article. The Eagles are always the victims in the WA media. It truly makes you sick.

        Only in inbred Perth!

Weirdly not ONE said anything. But seeing them squirm was just priceless.

Eagles fans=serious front runners. When they ain't winning they escape out of the stadium like the little weasels they really are.

May terrorists take over your plane home & crash it into the Nullarbor.Or even better, they have to make an emergency landing & be forced to devour each other to survive. (They'd find most of their players are full of lots of hot air...but would taste nice & crunchy on a barbeque! )

Good to see the budgie criminals languishing at second last.

I really, really, really, really want Melbourne to win a game or two so that the budgies can fight them over the wooden spoon.

Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I agree. I'd just settle for winning the Round 11 game against them at Subiaco.

West Coast had humble beginnings. It's soul was born out of adversity. The club faced trying times in it's first years in the VFL, but grew strong to be competitive on the field and completely self-sustainable.

The Sydney Swans relied heavily on AFL hand-outs during it's dark years. They were a rabble. If West Coast are a WA corporation, then it can be said that the Sydney Swans are a Victorian corporation.

West Coast supporters are blind? No. They have seen and continue to see without accepting mediocrity. They are passionate.

The outlook was bright with Judd and Cousins in the side, two of the best players in the league at the time. They're gone, now. We are professional enough to rebuild and form another competitive side. If only critics could understand that.

What a load of codswallop. You could say the same about some of the Swans crowd at the SCG. We pull big support from the public no matter where we are on the ladder. I still see plenty of dingbat Swans supporters walking around the SCG long after the first bounce.

West Coast has achieved big success in it's 22 years. The fans are proud, and they love this club as much as you love yours.

W84, As much as you are a passionate supporter of the Eagles, in case you haven't noticed, you are on a Swans supporter website. So you can expect a little bit of bagging of all things Not Swans. Gee, on this website we also bag things that ARE Swans!!!

JF, the little comment about In-bred Perth was a bit harsh. I'll have to ask my cousin...oops, I mean my husband what he thinks!!
I might have a slight drinking problem. My husband asked me to toast some bread for him...so I raised my wine glass and said "Here's to bread!"

You need a sense of balance - I travel to Perth often - I ask lots of people about the Eagles. You won the '06 premiership but it is not a proud moment - do you believe no member of the team was numbed from pain through the use of certain illegal products. Who was the player vomiting on the ground? You won by a point - and most fair minded WCE supporters know it wsn't a fair contest but keep quiet about it. Carlton admitted their problems, copped a huge penalty and are still suffering for it. Your cop is that the rest of Australia is wrong and all misdeeds at the club are no fault of the club - who are you kidding - would you have been proud to have your 18 year old son being with the WCE 'heroes' - Gardnier, Cousins, Kerr and others are not mentioned deliberately.

WCE did not start from humble beginnings. The launch and support was enormous. There is a mindset in Perth that smacks of a 'chip on the shoulder - I lived there for 3 years and there is the classic 'rose coloured glasses' syndrome. It is the lack of admission of these facts that rile most supporters and me clearly.

Well said No 14. I remember the launch of WCE back in 86/87. It certainly wasn't humble beginnings. Those rose coloured glasses need to come off. I think everyone has had enough of their arrogance and their "holier than thou" and "you can't touch me, I play for the Eagles" attitude. Now Karma (that magic word again!) has come back to bite them in the arse and everyone is just happy to see them put in their place for once. Of course they all think that everyone is just picking on them. (which we are...I know I am!!)

I am surrounded by Eagles supporters and apart from my husband (who is one of those very rare supporters who can see outside the world of WCE) everyone else has jumped off and refuse to watch them anymore and bag them like I've never heard anyone bag their own team before!
There is even a poll on Perth.now.com asking the question "Should Juddy be booed or cheered?" How quickly they forget.

In the words of Trevor Marmalade: "SUFFER!!!"

It is a shame that they still are NOT a club, their 'members' get a car sticker whilst ours get full voting rights.

I do succintly recall that in the Ken Judge days Eagles crowds fell to as low as 12000 at the old Subiaco. So much for undivided loyal support there.

You are a state of origin franchise that has a captive audience of basically the whole state of WA (except those with an attachment to a small seaside Port suburb called Fremantle).

I never used to hate the Eagles. I went for them in the 1991 GF against Hawthorn. I used to feel that interstate teams should stick together. These days I went for Collingwood, the team that kicked us out of the finals, against them, so is my hatred for the attitude that has been allowed to fester at that club.

Say what you like about these comments, but I know the people of Penrith blankly REFUSED to allow a grand stand at CUA Stadium to be named after Ben Alexander because of the fact that he chose to act foolishly & drink & drive. He could very well have murdered another member of the local community but ended up dying himself.

In the West we have people still fawning over obvious cokehead Chris Mainwaring despite his obvious drug problems. This is the blind sheep mentality you get amongst Eagles supporters than leads me to hate them so much. They think the sun shines out the the backsides of individuals known to be connected with underworld figures and drug pushers. I know if I had kids I'd not wanting to look up to people like that. Yes, all of WA treats them like rocks stars. Which has led them to start BELIEVING like they are rockstars. Hence they think they are beyond the law & beyond common decency.

Watch the telecast from 2005 again. There are Eagles supporters interviewed on TV who quite seriously thought their team would win by 12 goals. All this despite us not having been beaten by more than 8 goals all years. They read the West Australian & think they know something about football. And get horriied when you sit in front of them not sharing their love for their angelic team of darlings. It is truly sickening!

                              I have
-had cab drivers not pick me up because I have been wearing Swans gear in Perth.
-had WA cops threaten to fine Swans63 as we drove to Subi with a Swans scarf out the window of our car. (All this despite all the cars around us having Eagles scarves out the window)
-Eagles supporters see us and all run to the window of the pub they were in to give us the finger to rub it in. (Even in feral Adelaide I'm yet to see that) Immature, & extremely disrespectful. Eagles fans=worst winners in the league. Anyone who put up with the way some of them went on after 06 will know what I'm talking about.

I have been to Perth & hate the Eagles & their twat supporters for very good reason. Beating them over there is one of the best emotions in footy!
