I am excited as the next supporter, but honestly, not much to get too excited about in that clip. Dropped a mark, can't kick. Managed to dodge around an opponent.
One thing that I have noticed kennelly does with his kicking is to place the ball on his boot at a greater angle than is usual (i.e. he holds the bottom tip more inwards when he drops it on his boot). The effect is to compromise distance but because of the additional rotation imparted on the ball, he is a very accurate kick over short to middle distances. Murphy would do well to watch, and in fact, so would ROK, who seems to kick too many floaters and helicopters that slew in different directions, I suspect because his boot is striking the middle of the ball rather than the bottom. He gets good distance but loses accuracy.He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.Comment
