    Roos On The Bounce

Apparently Roos made some sarcastic remarks about the bounce the other night but I missed it. Has anyone got a link to it or knows what he said?

Didn't hear that, but he wrote a column for AFL.com.au today calling for the bounce to be bounced (and with some interesting remarks about the joys of facing the media as a coach).

Basically he said something along the lines of "we all know people come to the game to watch the umpires bounce the ball"

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

BTW, that ump has been dropped for this round.

I guess him and Davo can share a bucket and latte this weekend.

Getting dropped for just one bad bounce is pretty harsh punishment.

Talk back radio in Melbourne this week has been loaded with people, both media and public, saying the same thing.

I didn't see the game but from all accounts the game was well umpired and was one of those rare occassions where the umps let the game go a bit and avoided the whistle at all costs.

                  A shame.
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .
