    Was it a goal?

When I watched it, it looked to me Kirky had kicked a goal. When I saw the replay, it looked to me it was a goal. Is it just me? I know we had our chances but that was a massive call.

It is diificult to tell from the angle we saw it.
IMHO Channel 7 camera work was shoddy all day. How come they didn't have another angle of the shot like channel 10 do?

hard to say looked like a goal, but Ch 7 had a camera down the other end and showed a shot. why not that end.

They had an above head shot of the goals for the other end, I was really hoping they had for both ends.

Mind you, I am better off not knowing for sure lol

We had a pretty good angle of it and it definitely looked like a goal.

That was a shocker where did they have that one? Can't have been a dirrigible as the roof was closed, probably on the rafters.

The crowd behind goal seemed to think so too. It definitely looked through on t.v.

I was on Tier 2 directly behind those goals. Clearly marked a good metre past the line, right in front of the goal maggot. If the North player had gone the touch or punch, it might've been 50/50. But the fact he grabbed it meant he couldn't have got to it in time.

                    Unbelievable.

He didn't mark it, tried to tap it into the field of play and it hit the post, which suggests it was over already, but the goal ump had the best position and the decision stands...

                        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

yeah but they never really made a big deal out of it..if it was geelong or bombers, they would be crying blue murder on there.

I didn't see it that way Mike. But then they didn't show the replay at the ground either (which is dodge). If the news at 6 shows I'm wrong, I'll apologise.

Otherwise, as Jeff Da Maori would say "It was a goal-au!"
