    what forward line ?

having watched the debacle this afternoon, does anyone have any faith that our forward coach has any idea of:
a - coaching our forward line to hold position and then create some leading options when the ball comes from the backline ?:
b - the ability to be our long term coach ?

Longmire isn't our forwards coach, though. He is our midfield coach.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Our offensive game is a joke.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

We need a big body down there. A big, active body. White and Barlow are a work in progress. B1 is a piece of work.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Yep, I was hoping they may leave White in the goal square for longer than a few minutes at a time. He is a big unit. He is a good kick. And by the looks of it likes to throw is weight around.
Like to see him rampaging straight up the ground out of the goal square.

Of course, but it's not that great with him Julian! We have a good enough forward line to easily score far more goals than we do. We have no structure of getting the ball forward or into the forward line quickly or effectively.

I think that is one of the keys to our orward line. The delivery was very poor. I know at least a couple of times balls were kicked to the wrong side of the forwards or not far enough out as they had to slow their lead, to meet tha ball. I know one at least landed well short of Davis (similar to last week). Some floaters as well.

But there were a few bullet like passes, so we know they have the skill to deliver the ball onto a leading forwards chest. Just need to get the forwards to lead UP the ground, not into the pockets.
