    Hawks under 'corking' scrutiny

    Thank goodness a controversy that is not about the Swans - yet anyway!!

      This is not the sort of thing I can imagine a Swans player doing. Glad they are investigating it.

                  Um what is "corking" ? is that reverse "tunnelling" or is it the AFL version of the digit work that the NRL's John Hopoate was famous for?

                          Kneeing in the muscles. Done properly, it is a killer. A lot like what Carr did to GAJ.

                              you see being "a lady" we didn't do that at my all girls school - sure there would be the odd scrag fight, but nothing like corking!

                                          Used to be called "giving someone a dead leg" and yeah it's a schoolyard thing. Done well it bloody kills for a while.

                                          I wonder if Hawthorn will be called cheats thugs etc etc from AFL fans. I guess not.
