Nick Malceski is a step closer to making an amazing comeback from a total knee reconstruction after completing his first full team training session yesterday.
The dashing half back ruptured the ACL in his right knee in the opening round of the NAB Cup and underwent radical surgery, involving replacing the torn ligament with a synthetic graft on February 22.
Malceski's impressive performance on the training paddock has last year's best and fairest runner-up on target to make his comeback as early as round eight.
