    Hot Hawks towel up Pies

Did anyone see the Hawks v Pies?

The Hawks were awesome -- great drive out of their midfield, immaculate disposal, 17 goals from three forwards.

They're in the sweet spot of the footy cycle and probably the form side of the comp.

Thanks to the vagaries of the draw, they don't play the Cats until round 17. (We play them in round 15 at the G.)

The amount of times they get it out of the centre and lands in one of their forwards laps, or at least pick it up for a goal is amazing to watch.

Yeah, 40- 50-yard passes at high speed onto the chest.

They lost Hodge and didn't miss a beat. Their 10-goal last quarter was stupendous.

Love to see them against the Cats.

Pity due to the silly draw you won't get to see it till Rd 17.

On the upside, the Swans won't play them till round 15. On current form we'll be shredded.

The good guys have a dreadful record against the Swans. Even struggled to beat the C Grade Swans team in the NAB cup.

The only good thing is Round 15 is at the MCG not the SCG.
