4 possessions in three quarters - obviously the bandwagon is about tagging, not the quarterback release switching point guard running offensive defensive forward specialist.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

No need for that. You're burying yourself well enough with your own words. For example, try reading the following again:

Goodes is an 'elite' midfielder in my opinion, but not 'consistent' and 'reliable'. Whereas Brett Kirk is 'consistent' and 'reliable', but probably not quite 'elite'. To be 'elite', you must be considered 'consistent' and 'reliable' amongst many other outstanding traits.
Spot the logical flaw in that argument. They teach classes in it. You know: if all As are B, you cannot claim something is A but not B. That stuff.

You've been called often enough on the ridiculous claim that Fosdike is Mathews' "clone". However, you haven't yet been called on this one:

The Sydney Swans FC have only put him for trade every year since 2004.....
You realise that it follows from this claim, that the Swans put him up for trade after the 2005 GF? Ha! Not to mention 2006 and 2007. I would be pleased to peruse the slightest evidence (I'll keep the bar low for you; even a blog or forum entry from the time of those trade weeks saying 'Fosdike is up for trade' will do) that this claim is true. Otherwise: printing blatant falsehoods just makes you look desperate.

As for the claimed '8 points of similarity'. Go on-- name the last game in which Fosdike was given a 'run with' role, and who he was asked to tag.

Fossie has several years' more good service to give the Swans. Unlike some!

I was amused to read that someone would link Crouch with Matthews. Crouch's career is under a cloud, but it has little to do with Matthews.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

Under a cloud!!! That is the understatement of the year. For Crouch to play this year it would have to be a comeback of Lazarus proportions and I don't mean Gary Lazarus.

He has however managed to make it to the social pages which suggests he may be making an obscure comeback from left field to fool everyone. Is he gaining fitness on the dance floor and is there any truth in the rumour he carried Bazza's bags to Fiji. Well he has to do something to justify his contract.

I'm not on the bandwagon until he gets rid of the ridiculous hair cut. It accentuates his boof head and Port Adelaide have got enough big heads for the rest of the comp.

The link is quite clear. They are both predominantly taggers whose time has passed them by after many years of good service.

No, Gary Lazarus of Fitzroy fame. 132 games, 196 goals. An ungainly awkward looking forward who went from the thirds to the seniors without playing for the 2's. He wore irons on his legs as a child but made it through as a battler either in the ruck or in a key forward position.

Hence he had Lazarus like performances because of the fact that he actually made it to the top, a sub editors dream. From memory he always seemed to play with injuries.

So the legend goes "more comebacks than Gary Lazarus".

I don't think I have ever heard a Lazarus ever playing for a Fitzroy.

100 posts on a Ben Mathews thread, does that make him a life member of RWO.

Well there you go, I should get a newer copy of that book.

I should ask my Brisbane Lions mate, who is an old Fitzroy supporter, he'll diffenately know more.

                            Thanks Nico.
