    Gordon Ramsay's Father!

    According to the FOX commentators!

I must admit that I've never thought that Peter looks remotely like Gordon... I still don't now!

He certainly looks like he's been trying out an ever increasing number of recipes over the last year or so, though.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I think they were referring to his word choice when assisting the umpires in their decision making. Peter likes to share with the umpires his vast knowledge of the rules. It's just as well he sites in the front row at the SCG. Sitting in front of him can cause permanent hearing loss. He's been working for many years to develop that abdominal resonance chamber that you impolitely imply is something else.

        Haha, great post j_s.

I loved Peter's antics today. I was watching the game with a mate who is yet to be converted, and he was astonished at the level of passion AFL fans have. Great stuff!

aaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahhahahaa, sorry me=dumb. Was sitting at the game and didn't hear the comment

We sit in Bay Hatley, it's loud enough being a few rows behind him when the foghorn is pointed the other way!

Ha ha. I saw this from up in the front row of the Brewongle/Churchill stand and commented to a mate that no one should ever say that Sydney based Swans supporters lack the passion of fans in southern states, given that the game was lost by this stage.
