Goodes to CHF and TK into the middle

I think the team needs to be rejigged.

Goodes needs to move to CHF and play like Bazza, lots of leads, create plenty of goals scoring oppurtunities, he combines well with Micky O. To replace his dash through the middle move Kennelly to rover or centre, then you are replacing an extra dasher from HB as opposed to a key forward. With Mattner, Ted Richards, Bolton C, LRT, leo and bring in Brennan...ofcourse you lose a bit of class disposal but i reckon we could cope. On the other hand Goodes will provide a contest at CHF plus some class....would draw the best defender and give Micky O a bit easier ride... What da ya recon???k

I like Goodes at CHF, but leave TK at half-back. Maybe move ROK into the midfield.

No no no to Goodes at CHF from me.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

We need him do just do what he does best.
If anyone to CHF why not Ted?
I realise he did a great job on Welsh on Sunday but maybe he could be the one to take a few grabs up forward.

I think Ted would take some grabs, and would be able to do some nice long roaming leads- but I just can't see him crashing packs. I like CHFs crashing packs

Gee Stella, 2 posts in this thread and u have yet to suggest a replacement for the midfield if Goodes goes forward.

Must be somebody in the 2's atm u think would be up to the task

Nick Smith? He can't play as a tall midfielder!

Big Super Teddles can do anything ask of him.

Super Ted will crash through packs in a single bound.

I have faith in Super Teddles. After all, he is super.

Goodesy is better than good, he's a god.

Every other Swan looks to Goodesy for guidance.

Not Goodes to CHF, Barlow to CHF. Actually, scrap that, Barlow to FF, White to CHF, O'Loughlin to a forward pocket.

I would love to see Roos plant Barlow in the goalsquare for an entire game, and just have him lead straight up the middle and take four or five shots from 40 out, dead in front.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Barlow to CHF, White to FF.

Goodes to stay in the midfield.

Richards to go nowhere near the forward line.

Goodes is pretty much the only playmaker we've got in the middle, take him out of there I can't see how the hell the ball will get out of there with any sort of fluency.

Richards aint no CHF, too slow on the lead and even slower with the ball.

Probably a season away. The Goodes to CHF will be the move when Big Barry retires to pound a lazy million dollars from the scones of the heavywright pretenders in the australian boxing game. Barlow should be just about ready to take on the running big midfielder role. Playfair looks a likely replacement at full forward. Bevo will move to the midfield as a defensive mid with a few tiny tots running (Jack, Vez and Bird). Good side. Of course the delisting of Davo will be an unfortunatre result of lost confidence.

Why not have Goodes mixing it up a bit - spending time between CHF and on the ball.

Spider at Full Forward would also work for me - he is a good grab, leads well and (normally) a good kick.
