Another bye-week brain-teaser. Which current Swans would most likely have to fight their way through adoring fans in Pitt Street or Bondi Beach?

The best-known Swan is obvious. Is there anyone else who'd be recognised? We're talking Sydney and east Sydney - popularity in Melbourne, Bega, etc don't count.

I'm guessing (wildly):

No. 1: Big Bad Brainsnap

No. 2: Roosy - front man, notorious tanker

No. 3: Leo - mark of the century

No. 4: Kirk - Dalai Lama's man down under

No. 5: Goodesy - Brownlowist, community leader

No. 6: ROK - eligible bachelor

No 7: Spida - stands out in a crowd, Russell Crowe drinking buddy

No. 8: Tadhg - Irish legend

No. 9: LRT - schoolboy rugby legend

No. 10: Son of Gary League legend

I suspect people with just a casual interest in the Swans would struggle to recognise the likes of Barry or O'Keefe because they don't stand out much from a crowd. Spida on the other hand...

The husband of a friend of mine who comes to a few games with me (the friend, not the husband, though the husband came to one last year) told me he'd seen Everitt in the street during last year's pre-season - ie before he'd even played a game for the Swans.

Hall and Spida IMO would be the most recognisable.

I've said this before about 3 years ago my 4yr old daughter at the time was the only one to recognise Micky O in George st for gods sake you cant get any busier street in Sydney than that.

IMO thats pretty piss poor,and once my daughter cornered him for some autographs,he said you guys must be from Melbourne.


IMO the Swans players would be more recognisable in Melbourne than Sydney.

When I used to live in Maroubra you would often see Swans at the local Westfield. Goodsie stood out, so did Magic and Ball. Irish would be seen but wasn't obvious (not as tall?). He actually bumped into my wife and we didn't even notice until he said sorry in that strong accent.
