I'd prefer Jack up in the middle, but the only BP would be Bevan.

i like that team, except i still live in hope lrt can take over a tall backman position and let barry move to the half back flank type role and maybe free malceski or kennelly up for the midfield.

Id like to see kennelly have a bit more freedom.

Though most of our attack comes from half back i guess.

Going OK defensively. "Superb" is definitely stretching it.

not even his best season, is hardly setting the world on fire, has improved but if you look at his list of games played theres a lot of bad ones there and not many good ones

Not right at the moment but if all of those players I mentioned are ready to go at some stage later in the year, then I think Bevan's spot should be questioned.

A lot of you put goodesy at third ruck ... is the playing the spare man (forward or back) in the meantime?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Not bad but about the only change i would make is either Melcho or Tiger should swap with Mattner.

I think Mattner is comparatively better on the wing. If you include LRT then Malceski or Kennelly could also go to the wing.

He's 'ruck rover' - just means he runs around as he likes.

Its a hard call but i think Roos has always wanted to groom Melcho for the wing.

All 3 are very good passers of the ball, but Melcho is the best so thats why IMO he should play on the wing.

What about Melcho on 1 wing and Mattner on the other.

When I say 'comparatively better' I am thinking that Mattner at wing and Malceski at HBF is better than the other way around as I'd prefer Mattner up the ground.

Hard to get both on the wing without finding another backman.

Fair enough but i'd prefer Melcho on the wing for his better kicking ability.

I know its not a good exchange for the both of them but i suppose we would have to do with LRT for the moment.

mattner is born to play on the wings IMHO.

Its not like footy is played in set positions this days, but mattner would be good with a bit of a license to roam around.

Can also rotate kennelly malceski and mattner around.

The main objective if i was coaching the team would be to have your best users of the ball moving through the midfield and delivering the ball direct and effectively into the forward 50
