Why is Connelly so obsessed with him for? He's not even as good a footballer as Lewis Roberts-Thomson.
Bevo is simply the best footballer to ever pull on the red and white number 42 in the history of our great club. Appreciation is not obsession!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhh...Gerard Bennett....what style, what grace. Along with Stefan Carey the greatest Swan of all time.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Wade Chapman > Bevan
David Ackerly > Bevan
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."
Wade Chapman, wasn't he the player that kicked the ball to Plugger in the 1996 Preliminary Final, where Plugger kicked the point to win us the game?
The very same.

Wade Chapman would have been a sensational player had his body held together. He had all the reckless courage of Bevan, plus the vision of Malceski, the slippery evasiness of Jack and the ability to spot a target like Moore. It's a real shame that injuries got the better of him.
Bevan doesn't deserve be mentioned in the same sentence as Ackerley. He's not worthy of tying Ackerleys shoe laces.
Cannot remember him being delisted, can only assume that Ackerley deserted us when he moved to North Melbourne.
May be Bevo's superior on the field, at this stage, but until Bevo decides he wants out of the fold, he IS worthy of tying Ackerley's shoelaces......together I hope.
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09
