Watching that Port v Swans QF was one of the happiest moments I've ever had in my lounge room. I think the entire neighbourhood heard me when the final siren sounded.

One of my fave games that I've been to. Was sitting in a tiny pocket of Swans fans on centre wing in the outer stand.

The guy next to me was a Crows fan, but his missus was a mad Port fan. He confided to me when she went to the ladies before the game started, that he hoped like hell we would win, he couldn't stand living in the house if Port won the flag.

As the Swans kicked goal after goal in the second quarter, he would dig me in the ribs as he turned to the wife trying his best to hold a straight face as he sympathised with her. Funny stuff.

We gave the Port fans hell as they filed out after the game.

Wore my red and white scarf with pride that night back at the casino....and won there as well.
