Wade Chapman, the man that passed the ball to Plugger Lockett in the 1996 Preliminary Final to sink the Bummers.

Of course Chapman failed a week later to win a premiership medallion, whereas Bevo has one and possibly more to come. My memory may be wrong but I think he missed the GF through one of his constantly recurring injuries. Extremely physically fragile. Perhaps you should reconsider?

Certainly. If Ben Mathews can almost make it Bevo is a shoo in.

Simon Arnott played some good games for us. No star but had a go.

I went the Tasmanian option. Blood is thicker than water.

p.s. Is Will Sangster allowed to vote for himself. He has been a lively contributer at times.

I voted Chapman for 2 reasons.
                      1) Ackerly was before my time.
                      2) Who could forget his one special pass.

Bevo is not the best 42 of all time yet,but he will be.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

Just mucked up my vote and went for Ackerley, he was a star but switched to the Kangaroos which undoes all of his good work in my mind. Chapman has to date been the best 42 and unfortunate not to have a premiership medallion. I like Bevan and hope he can one day stake claim to being the best 42 (he is well on the way).

I'd vote for Bevan purely on the fact that Chappy did his best work in #27 and Ackerly in #9
