I used to enjoy watching the swans on a sunday afternoon for the last 15+ years. in the comfort of my lounge room.

I'm stoked that we get it at all! As much as it's nice to head out to watch it at the Riser or whatever, not for every bloody away match which is what it felt like last year! I'm a student and can't afford fox, so I have been known to take my uni papers with me just so I can do work while I watch the game as well so to be able to do this at home instead will be great! Bring it on!

One of the downfalls of moving to Melbourne was i hardly get to watch any swans on FTA in Melbourne. You don't know how good you have it as a swans fan in Sydney until you move to melbourne. It was good in 2005 and 06 but it was hard getting used to minimal coverage for the bloods down here.

Be lucky if we even get a paragraph in any paper let alone any news on TV and seven only show essendon news anyway (seven being one of the bombers major sponsors..figure that out)

And yeah i can do a pub once in a while but every bloody weekend is a hassle.

I'm talking about positive swans news..true we have had nothing but bad press.

And yeah looks like i will have to find something to do in the next 11 weeks for the first time in many many years as i am not sitting in a pub for 3 hours every weekend to watch a game. I hate pubs as it is.

Ch 7 have screwed interstaters with this new tv deal. 3 hours of football on a sunday when 50 mins is actual game time and the rest is ads.
