Was also my favourite player. The number 1 was on my guernsey. Gerald Healy called him "Speedy Gonzalez" because "he looked like him"

Great memories of guys like him.

          Probably in my time.

I remember the week before it happened, he played an absolute blinder against the Crows in Adelaide. We actually got up and won, which was pretty rare in those days.

He was just starting to become a very good player.

That comment to me is simply you putting yourself on a higher plane than most supporters.
I guess you're in the top 10% of supporters because you know who Jamie Lawson is.
Who cares if people don't know who he is?
Rolling your eyes at them just inciting all those registered users who haven't posted before, not to post.

I'd like to encourage more people to post here, and I for one don't mind what amount of time you've supported the Swans.
              A fan is a fan.
And if they're here, then they are a fan who is demonstrating a passion for their team.

As to Jamie Lawson's broken leg.
That's in line with the injury I had.
They told me I would never play AFL again.
Seriously, I am no longer allowed to run.

Which makes what Des saw that time when I decided to race to the middle of the ground after the siren all the more special

Yeah - hit Tony Free and broke his jaw from memory.

Getting your head caved in is pretty nasty to, ala Craig O'Brien thanks to a stray David King knee in the 1996 GF (I think that was the game????).

I also think Peter Caven must have had a bit of headache after he tried to headbut Pluggers elbow.

Richard Osbourne (Dale Lewis), That was pretty terrible, but at least he was able to play again, unlike little Jamie.

And I remember that game to P46, he was just starting to make a name for himself.
