    Kevin Sheedy, what a wanker.

In the Sunday HS he is calling for Derek Kickett to let bygones be bygones.

Kickett replies that he has moved on after 15 years but Sheedy is still on a guilt trip.

Fact Sheedy didn't have the guts to tell Drek to his face that he was dropped.

Typical Sheedy, not his fault and everything is all about him. All his articles are I, I, I and makes for nausiating reading about how he did this and how he did that.

Media hacks fall all over him and probably now because he is an AFL lacky and all these accredited AFL journos dare not say a bad word about him.

Did you notice how all the AFL accredited journos waxed lyrical about the promotional 150 years game, too frightened to say it was a waste of time, but most polls I heard of had the public saying, no, no, no.

Kevin Sheedy rates Jude Bolton. No wonder Nico is after him.

The only player dropped in that list of players to play all games and miss the GF. All others were injuries or suspensions.

Sheedy is the equivalent of League's Phil Gould.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Will say and do just about anything to keep his face in the media.

Such a tragic end to someone who gave so much to footy.

Hmm, a mate of mine worked with Derek Kickett at the CES in Moonee Ponds when all this erupted. He told me how it unfolded at his work on the Friday before the GF. Sheedy rang the office and my mate answered the phone. He asked to speak to Kickett and said "tell him it's Kevin Sheedy". Kickett's reply was "tell him to get stuffed". Now, I never truly believed that my mate was entirely honest. But reading the article it all made sense. Sheedy didn't tell Kickett on Thursday because Simon Madden was with the playing group (and he was Carlton's ruck coach). Now I don't know why Essendon would allow Madden there if he was actually a staff member of th enemy! But anyway. Kickett sensed something was up. He didn't go the the Grand Final parade and instead went to work. Hence Sheedy's calls to the CES. So Kickett's claims that "Sheedy never had the guts to tell me" wasn't quite true. He refused to take any of his calls. And it wasn't just one call, my mate said Sheedy kept trying at least half a dozen times.
