    Davis Back From Siberia?

Davis edging back into good books - realfooty.com.au

Seems Brett Allison gave Davo an "A" on his report card after last week's effort at Ainslie. This plus the possible return of Kennelly and Barlow will make for an interesteing selection meeting.

Seeing the excellence of Davo's ball distribution off half back this last three weeks has been an eye opener for me. Will Davo return to his old forward role or be used in spurts further up the ground?

Roos car must be nice and shiny, now.

I think one of his best assets is his delivery into the F50.

The most telling part of that article was Magic hitting the 300/Life Member Club.

      Another milestone for the legend.

I'll be raising 22 drinks to him.

No-one could claim the Swans' media management isn't predictable.

Mark him down in the 22 now. Hard to see who could be omitted apart from work-experience kid Bird. (Maybe Schmidt, but after kicking the winning goal?!) Although they'll probably string it out by naming a 25 where he's tantalisingly at the end of the 7-man bench...

Great call Simon. I've got absolutely no idea who'll get dropped, but I'd be very surprised if Davis doesn't play.

Will offer to pay one way ticket back to Siberia

Why would we want to play that useless.......

Agree that he should not get a game if his "attitude" to working hard to get to contests and impose himself on them doesn't change. But if he can overcome that major flaw then he should get a game based on pure disposal skill.

Only need one game to know if he is willing to work hard enough to be considered going forward.

Craig only had 45% game last week so you could expect it is time to give him a rest.

They might give him plenty of time in Canberra and then a week off mid season and bring him on for the second half.

I've really enjoyed watching the kids come of age this year. Seeing a hard working, straight kicking, Nicky D would make my year so if it happens this weekend, I'd be overjoyed.

                        Bring him on!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Hopefully he comes in, but I wouldn't be suprised if he spends another couple of weeks in the magoos yet.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

The important thing this time is not when he comes in but how he comes in.

Clearly, bringing him in with a gun to his head, as per his last game in the seniors did not work, so surely the playing group, coaching group have got to get behind him, give him the confidence to take the game on.

I hope it happens that way.
