It's Micky O's 300th this weekend if it's true ...

Apart from racking up another win to close in on the four teams above them in the ladder, the Swans have other reasons to celebrate a victory over the Tigers. The match will be Michael O'Loughlin's 300th game of AFL football - he has played 279 premiership games, 14 pre-season games, two State of Origin matches and four International Rules matches - and as such will qualify him for life membership of the AFL.

A win would also be significant for the club. It would the 1000th for the Swans - South Melbourne/Sydney - since competition began 111 years ago. In 1897, South Melbourne played their opening VFL premiership game on May 8 at the Lake Oval and lost by 17 points to Melbourne.

Yes, I was wondering the same. I thought only H&A games counted not pre-season or SOO ones.
I would imagine it would be officially announced on the AFL web site if that was really his 300th game, which I haven't seen yet.

Going by the interview on FSN, it sounds like he's not contracted for next year but hopes to keep on playing. Says his body feels good, he believes he's making a valuable contribution, and he'll take it year by year from hereon.
