    5000 new seats available

According to an ad in the Telegraph today, there are 5000 new seats available for Sunday's match. Perhaps they are opening up one section of the new grandstand?

I find that a little hard to believe considering the top deck is not finished meaning none of it will be open and the concourse has been used for several weeks now....so maybe they're just a few weeks late?!?!

So what does that make the capacity now (assuming they're a few weeks late)?

        They're just late.
The corporate boxes and upper decks are yet to be finished.

Those corproate boxes are going to be the place to watch cricket from BTW.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Yep, it appears it is just 'late mail'.

As this live cam shot shows, no seats in the top deck, just the seats that were already installed a few weeks ago.

Is it just me, or are they running a head of schedule?
