    Endorsement for Jarred

    There's nothing like lining up a winner - realfooty.com.au

We all reckon Jarred's OK - so does someone else.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I hope he's taken the advice not to read footy forums or maybe newspapers.

He'd be a real mature young fella if the adulation he has received in the past fortnight does not go to his head just a tiny bit. Human nature unfortunately.

The fact that Barry Hall has come out and said it now bodes well though. You'd hope he would be smart enough to say nothing if there was a possibility that it might go to his head.

Obviously a smart cookie our Bulldog.

Not sure I agree with Barry's suggestion that Moore is benefitting from him (Barry) not being out there. I reckon the two would make a good combination, with Hall crashing through a few to create a contest, Moore gathering the ball, crashing through a few more and then kicking the goal. Playfair is doing OK in providing contest, but it's not the same as having Hall at his marauding, rampaging best.

While we're on the topic of everyone's favourite Swan this week, a nickname check:

          THey call him -
          Bulldog
          Cannonball
          The Brain

          Is that right? Any others?

(AFter last week's goal, 'Cannonball' fits.)

I've heard "The Flying Barrel" and "The Washing Machine".

I don't know why, but I really like "The Washing Machine" - maybe not only because of the shape and the way they spin - they clean everything up.

Imagine if he played for a Melbourne club.

My apology if I sound a bit thick (Which I am, especially in the eyes of my better half )

Who exactly was nicknamed "Tiger", is it ROK?????

                  My thanks in advance.
I am as old as the sum of my disappointments and as young as those naughty thoughts in my mind.

It would be a shame if Moorey was believing (even reading) what has been written about him.I'm sure he would have seen many cases of pride before a fall.I have seen him win games off his own boot from the time he was a junior and he has just taken it all in his stride. He has excelled at other things and coped well.
I am sure his parents and brothers would keep him well grounded.

Kennelly, at least as far as I'm concerned.
