Good report, but the May that played was Warners Bay player Michael May, not the Swans Scholarship holder. From what I gather there were 3 players from the BDAFL in the side, the other two being Rawson & Nesbitt

Case of me putting two and two together and reaching a plausible - but incorrect - five. Thanks for pointing that out and I've taken the liberty of editing the report.

I totally agree with this post. Fossie was clearly the best and miles ahead of everyone in terms of class. O'Dwyer looks terrific when he has the ball - his decision making and disposal is spot on. He just needs to go in and get it more, rather than waiting for it to come to him. Barlow did a few good things but got caught a number of times trying to do too much.

B1 has put together two good games in a row... First time that's been said about him for a while!!

He was very good against PA and better than average yesterday. Hard to see him getting dropped.

LRT was probably our worst yesterday but even he had a few moments.

Richo has been playing his best season for years this year but LRT kept him quiet. I love the way Richo bleeds for the Tigers and I found myself feeling sorry for him yesterday. On that performance basis it's hard to say LRT had a bad day. If Glass did the same to an in-form Baz he'd be hailed as near BOG.

Yeah, I'd have had LRT down as one of our best. Richo was one of the Tigers' better players but mostly got the ball in undangerous spots and on long, quick leads. In static, one-on-one duels I thought LRT had the better of him. It shouldn't be underestimated what good form Richo's been in most of this season. And by handling Richo, LRT freed up that marvel of modern defending, CBolts, to blanket Brown (admittedly with loads of help from the Richmond midfield).
