Nah, but it was average compared to Playfair from the Boundary line
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

      You can't be serious, Reggi.

Playfairs was a good kick for the angle, especially as his kicking is a bit suspect, but Goodes solo effort from the bounce was just sensational.

The dominance of that clearance , run, bounce and kick show why he has won two Brownlows and could still win another.

Playfair's shot was exceptional, especially from that pocket. But I thought Goodes' goal was out of the box! Everyone around me was on their feet .It was a power player at his best!!

Yeah, was an awesome goal by Goodesy...the commentators actually called an Axel Foley goal late in the game the goal of the day but I reckon Goodesy's was a better goal...

I jumped out of my seat and did a few cartwheels after that goal. It was sensational.

I was sitting near the bench when he came off right after that goal, he got a standing ovation around me. Haven't seen that in years happen (well regarding the Swans).

I was certain that Playfair would miss from the angle ... it was great that he slotted it through.

                    BUT

That goal from Goodesy ... ask GoSwannies14 - I nearly jumped down from the top deck of the brewongle to hug and kiss him (Goodesy, not GS14). The kind patrons around me stopped me from jumping. I got a bit excited.

                    Goodesy's back.

Great goal.... But I think the one 30 seconds before via MO'L was just as good...

Both were beautiful, perfectly executed football. It doesn't get any better than that.

I thought they were both great efforts. Goodes goal was exactly what I like to see, free flowing running goals. Another great one was Pebbles (I think!) in the 3rd quarter.

I put $30 on Goodes for this years brownlow and odds of $31 a couple of weeks ago, here's hoping.
