Looks like Bazza will return in two weeks, and maybe Fozzie ...but to make way for them, and maybe even ND, who would you drop? It was suggested on radio that Bird would be one...and Henry a straight swap for Bazza. I would be reluctant to tinker too much on recent performances, but acknowledge at least someone will go for Bazza's return against the drunks. Any thoughts?
Who would you drop?

Tough to drop Bird after game yesterday
So no change this week. Following that 'team balance'.It would be smart to try Hall & Playfair in the same forward line at least once
We will get some injuriesYou don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler -
Hard to pick someone to go.....
LRT woudl be our worst performer at the moment, but he's playing back so not a real easy substitute there.
For the first time in a while, it's hard to see who would make way for a returning player. Though I think we should try and squeeze him into our starting 22...Comment

Really tough one.
If we had no injuries (unlikely), then you would think Playfair to make way for Hall.
Bird might also be dropped, but only if Fosdike or Schmidt were carving it up in the ressies. Not for another week at least.
I love Davis, but can only see him coming back in if we have injuries.Comment

Hall for Playfair...IMO Hall should come back through the magoo's.
Maybe Fossie or Timmy in for Bird, but thats it.Last edited by swantastic; 2 June 2008, 01:42 PM.Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

in davis hall
out bevan playfair (cant have him there when halls there)
Maybe a fosdike bird swap but i think birds been good
id like to fit barlow back in too he is a good user of the ball, maybe for lrt, though he was good yesterday
no doubt we will lose a game soon and chop a few, hard to change a winning side thoughTheres not much left to sayComment

I'd like to get all of Hall, Davis, Schmidt and Fosdike into the 22. But at the moment, it's just impossible to get them all in. Great problem to have and one that I can't recall us ever having in the past.
Obviously Hall will come straight in. Playfair's been fine, but I just can't see him being in our best side when Hall's there.
I would've dropped Bird instead of Schmidt last week, but Bird played pretty well against Richmond - as did LRT.Bloods

In Hall - out LRT, then we can rotate playfair up into defence a bit & LRT can try and find some better form in the reserves! no room for both playfair & LRT in the same team i dont think!Comment

I'd drop Bevan and B1.
Twig the others around to make the room.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I don't understand how LRT gets mentioned in this thread. He was great on Richo yesterday. Granted, he didn't play well against Port, but I don't see him making way for anyone right now.
I reckon Hall for Playfair....and that's it. As someone stated earlier you wouldn't want to tinker to much with a side seemingly hitting on all cylinders.
I read an article where Blakey said Barlow was only missing because of a hamstring. He was playing very well for us earlyComment

I hate to say this but its almost like you want someone to have an injury so the others(Fosdike, Davis, Barlow, Brennan, Schmidt, Matthews) can get a run. I think unfortunately, Nick Davis and Ben Matthews have played thier last games for the swans. they've both been great servants to the club.Comment

i think on current form only hall would be shoved straight in probably for playfair
theres seems to be a swans love in going on in the media etc
but if we drop a few games i reckon you would see some changes and our depth and youth questioned again!Theres not much left to sayComment
