Must be time for Monty to have a rest too - very poor again last night (except for THAT goal). Looks a shadowof himself - Davis for Buchanan; Hall for Playfair; Bird for Barlow; Schmidt/Fosdike for Goodes?
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."
I hope Playfair stays. He does seem to provide another strong marking target. We would be great to seePebbles, Playfair and Hall running around up forward taking strong grabs.

Could be Hall for Barlow, actually, but I wouldn't agree with that. I want Bird back in the side. I'd rather see Playfair out, despite the fact that he has been good for us. On the other hand, Hall in would give Playfair an even @@@@tier opponent. He has been attracting the opposition's second-third tall defender (depending on whether they played a tall or a small on O'Keefe) recently, hasn't he? Well, if that changes to third-fourth, that could free Playfair up immensely, because he hasn't been going to bad anyway. But then, who else do you drop? I'm sticking up for LRT: I thought he was solid against the Weagles, and excellent against Richmond. He's working back into form, and needs to be persisted with. A lot of people are having problems with Ablett as well, but he's doing his job, week in, week out. He isn't a brilliant player, and never will be, but he plays an important part in creating a contest at the bottom of packs. That's what he's there to do, and he's doing it. Buchanan? He kicked three goals the other day.
Honestly, Bolton coming good has screwed up our team. I use the phrase "screwed up" with more than a hint of irony, by the way! It's just that HE was the one who was going to make way in the midfield, allowing Bird, Jack, Moore and Barlow to all be in a full strength side. But now he's doing well, it is made that much harder to blood youth.
Grrrr. What a pickle! OK, when it comes down to it, my ins and outs:
IN: Bird, Hall
OUT: Barlow, Playfair (I don't want to, but I have to pick somebody)
Apparently Spida is under a bit of an injury cloud, so if he doesn't come up, then White comes in. White and LRT then share second ruck duties.
If Spida doesn't play, I doubt they'll bring White in. It will just make it easier to fit Hall into the team, and maybe bring back Bird at Barlow's expense. LRT and Playfair would just share back-up ruck duties.
I'll be surprised to see Playfair go this weekend. Roos said, when Playfair arrived, he wanted another tall target up forward and I reckon he'll want to at least see how the side goes with both Hall and Playfair there. And this week is a good week to do it because the Saints aren't the quickest side going around, so if we're "too tall" it mightn't matter so much as against other sides. The Saints are also a bit challenged for height in their backline - a bit like us - so it will stretch them a bit down there.
Mind you, this might all depend on what the weather does for the next few days. The sun came out on Saturday and we had a beautiful azure sky. But it was a one day only affair and now the cloud and rain has returned. If it's wet I reckon Playfair will go out and Bird come in.
