We should try and make a forward out of Barlow

Worst game I've seen him play tonight. Didn't seem to have any hunger when the footy was up for grabs, he was just happy to stroll around casually until the ball fell into his hands.

I can't see him with a future in the midfield to be honest. He's too slow IMO. Some people have said in the past that he's one of the quickest blokes at the club. Surely that can't be true. If it is true, then it's a sad state of affairs.

He does have good hands though. Took a couple of nice overhead marks tonight. IIRC, he's also a pretty good set shot at goal. Two key ingredients for tall forwards.

So I reckon we give him a run at CHF.

How about making a footballer out of him.....on tonight's effort he was as weak as dishwater or aussie beer
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

He was piss weak. Never really was a fan of him. Didn't do himself any favours turning that view around. Great set shot at goal though.

Needs to talk to Keiren Jack and talk about hardness.

From what I've seen of him over two and a half years, he's a confidence player. Those of us who saw him last week thought it was an odd selection decision. He'd come back from a couple of week lay off and didn't play with much confidence. I doubt tonight has done him any good at all - and from the lack of gusto with which he sang the song you can figure out he knew he'd had a shocker.

He needs a good month back with the twos, I reckon, before he's even talked about again at selection table.

Has talent and that natural looking style, but he's just dumb and very soft. He could learn a thing or two from Jack, Moore and Bevan.

He should never have replaced Bird.

Needs to go a round or two with Bazza. That'll toughen him up. He's talented, but as weak as piss right now. He needs to start diving into contests, getting the shoulder in when he tackles, and actually winning the ball.

Looked completely out of his league but given he's done ok at this level before you can only assume he just couldn't find the pace of the game. On reflection, a pretty poor selection.

I also heard he was the fastest at the club. Distressing to see opposition players leave him behind. Is he running flatout or what Even on a bad day he IS a player that could be doing the screaming tackles.

Soft footballers don't generally make top forwards. They have to be prepared to expecta a whack behind the ears constantly.

He was a genuine cream puff and Liz is right he is a confidence player, but more so I think he has his head up his bum right now and thinks he is a millionaire footballer put playing like a peasant. The NAB Cup game he was ordinary and the mail is he got a right rogering from the coaches.

He looked like he was avoiding the contests last night and one time he ran right past a hot handpass in traffic and in todays game in close all handpasses are hot.

Get a grip son because you aint no Goodes look alike by a long ways.

I'm pretty sick and tired of people comparing him to Goodes aswell.

It's like comparing Courtney Johns to Jonathan Brown.
