    Round 12 - St.Kilda

Most of us were overconfident about last week's game being a percentage booster, and we were lucky not to be completely humiliated in the end. I'll bet we're more circumspect this week! I think we can win this game without too much trouble, even without Goodes. Swans by 15 points.

I was very much circumspect of West Coke over there but Im more hopeful of this one. St Kilda have given us a few problems recently, but with their injury troubles and their midfield not really pulling its weight I think we should be able to win comfortably. But saying that it will probably be a tight dour struggle, but Im saying swannies by 23.

I am expecting one of those real dour slogs, but expect the Swans to pull away in the end.

      Swans by around 3 goals.

I'm less confident without Goodes than I am with. Either way though, we should win.

It'll be close ... Swannies are coming home from the big road trip.
Hopefully we'll beat them by at least one.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Interesting fact in todays Herald that we have won our past 8 games after coming back from the west.

That is extraordinary. I wonder what we are doing different from most other clubs?

Coming back to a smaller ground would help.

The Saints have been playing ordinary footy with the forward combination of Riewoldt and Koschitzke not working too well. Their midfielders don't kick enough goals to pose much of a danger to opposition sides.

The return of Hall will determine how the Swans midfielders deliver the ball into the forward. If the Swans don't go Hall-centric, the game should be an easy win but expect Bazza to kick a few as he did pre-Staker incident.

                  Swans by 25.

Looks like foul wet weather Saturday nite, haven't had much wet weather form lately. MOL looks younger every week, a three goal win.

We will win by 21. I can feel it in my waters, or is that just all the rain??

I think we could win by at least a couple of goals. Hopefully the boys will remember the last time they played the Aints in the pouring rain....we lost by 2 points.

I refuse to vote for a result given the form of these 2 when they get together.

Saints always lift when we are stronger and we still struggle with their height up forward (even this weekend I predict).

Then there is the Roos Ross thing. Those 2 probably email tactics back and forth so no one has an unfair advantage...

Played dry weather footy(or at least tried to) instead of wet weather footy.
