    What annoys me...

Place what really annoys you here boys and gals....

Mine... Craig Bolton not getting the recognition he deserves this year, he has to be in the top 3 best defenders in the comp and all I hear about is Scarlet, Brown, Glass, Croad....

I guess Bolts don't care much about that, he just goes about his business shutting down forwards.

It's not just this year. It's been the situation for the last 4-5 years. Apart from when he was named AA, you really never heard anything said about him....

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

That's a good thing. We like to fly under the radar.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I reckon Bolts probably is recognised as such by many fans. While one would hardly call BF the bastion of all football knowledge, most (non-Swans fans) who have posted a midway AA team have Bolts in there.

          What annoys me...

... is inaccurate goal kicking. I hope this is something that gets addressed each week, it has cost us numerous games in the past.

I don't know. Those misses from gimme shots can be quite rewarding. Especially when they're off the boot of Big Cox, Butler, Hunter or Lynch. Couldn't believe Cox missed that one in the second quarter. I'd already written it down on my scoring sheet and was most annoyed I had to scribble it out.

And while the scoreboard says we had the same number of scoring shots as the Wiggles, the only 'head-in-the hands' miss that I can recall from the Swans was Playfair's in the first quarter. Boy, did we need that goal then.

O'Keefe's miss was frustrating but it was quite a tough shot.

NOG's miss, out in the full
Moores miss on the run in the final quarter
Eskis miss out in the full in the last 2 minutes

Anyway we won so who cares....

OK, I'd pushed the NOG one out of my mind, so embarassing was it. But while it was appalling that he managed to miss by that much, it wasn't quite as bad as the range that Cox missed from. Especially given Cox is a pretty dependable set shot normally, and Ablett isn't.

The Eski and Moore ones weren't set shots. Yes, it would have been nice if they'd been on target but they weren't gimmes.

Even still, when he was AA there were some that said Dale Morris should have got the spot ahead of Bolton.

It annoyed me during the game on Saturday where the Ump called play on and then changed his mind and paid the mark. Make up your mind!

Worse happened in the dogs/saints game.
Free given to the Saints in the D50, by McClaren.
Then he realised he made a mistake so reversed his arm pointing in the other direction. In the mean time al the Saints defenders had run forward leaving the dogs forwards unmarked, Easy Goal.

I thought we were talking about the Swans in general. Perhaps I should have made that clear.
I love it when the opposition miss, especially sitters ala Richo against us. Would've given them there first goal but Richo remembers how to hook it perfectly.

Bolton is consistently underated imo- he is in the top three 'key' defenders of the comp who are a mile in front of the rest of the defenders in the comp in Scarlett, Rutten and Bolton. They are a mile in front of the rest. Should of been AA last year well in front of Dinosaur Fletcher and should get in again this year but probably wont. I think most fans rate him as he should be rated but its just those in the AA selection and some journalists/commentators that dont give him the praise he deserves.

Meh Glass, Croad, Brown better then Bolton? Got to be absolutely kidding me. Glass is up there with Big crap Q in the upper echelons of most overated in the competition. Very good on his day, but as he has been shown up this year at times, not half as good when his team isnt dominating.

He is absolutely critical to our chances- if we were to lose Bolton for a period of time we would be absolutely stuffed. He is ce
