    Nick 'Savis' Davis

Hey guys, this is not a troll, but an actual genuine question.

Whats the deal with Nick Davis? Since we don't get much Sydney news down here in Perth and, not being a Sydney supporter I suppose I don't take much notice, I was wondering if he is out of form, bad off field issues or just not needed in the team?

The coaching staff have had issues with his on field commitments regarding chasing, tackling, applying pressure to the opposition. They have had him playing for the reserves with a view of reinstating him when he attains the level that Paul Roos and his staff require. There are no off field issues that I am aware of.
Personally, I hope that he ticks all the boxes, so to speak, and gets back in the firsts. He is too good a talent to be wasted.

Wirra's having a good game tonight. I'm a big fan of Wirra's. One of the few decent blokes in the Evils.

Isn't he currently in the first year of a three year contract anyway?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Probably a 3 year Ressies contract given his current situation.

Yep, 3 goals in the final quarter with at least 1 gift goal coming from a very dubious free kick that McLaren gave to Hunter for "hands in the back." He was MIA in the first 3 quarters.

fair enough, i only saw the second half but thought he was ok as a small forward kicking a couple off the packs, i would have thought 3 goals is a reasonable return, i know if Moore kicked 3 every week id be pretty happy
