A couple of comments were made by the commentators tonight thatback up what I have been saying for some time, that Lyon was the mastermind behind the Swans defensive style of play. The Swans are now starting to do away with that and play more attacking football than in the past few seasons. The Saints are stuck back playing the style that won us a flag 3 years ago. The game has moved on, and so are we now slowly.

Excellent win on a cold slightly wet night.
All players had trouble with ball handling but the better side won.

Only negative was Playfairs kicking... it must be worked on to make him the 3rd marking forward.
Either that or have anyone run past to kick for him.

Good performance by LRT on a ttough opponent as well.

He seems very stubborn too. He isn't willing to change things.

Not sure if he signed for 2 or 3 years but I can't see his contract being renewed, or getting a senior role elsewhere.

I was shocked when he got the job in the first place. He's a pretty dopey sort of guy.
