    He's a Cracker

The past few weeks Keiren has shown that he is much, much more than a tagger. Last week against West Coast he made some vital contributions in close when the game was on the line. This week, (from our Noble stand end on view) the miles he covered and the speed he showed to get free to present a target were breathtaking. He possesses the attributes that all the great midfielders have - terrific both in close and outside. I have no hesitation in predicting that in a couple of years Keiren will be one of the elite midfielders in the comp. I put money on Dicky Bird for the rising star, but I could have backed the wrong bloke. Cracker will give it a big shake.

I had the "Jack"debate last year and before the season with Liz. I thought his problem was he ran too fast for his legs so to speak and his kicking and disposal selection needed a lot of work and was sceptical of him making it.

I was wrong. He is a real thinker and finds space as well as anyone. His speed off the mark appears to leave opponents in his wake, and last night really set up many a forward thrust and had heaps of time because he was always a mile from an opponent.

I was most impressed with his hands last night. Took some beautiful grabs very, very cleanly.

While I was confident Jack had it in him to become a player, I'll admit I wouldn't have predicted how quickly he's become that player. But it was probably the rate at which he'd improved since he arrived at the club that was most exciting. And as ORB says, he has plenty of improvement in him yet.

I must admit I thought he was too small initially but I've been most impressed with his year. Long may his excellent form and further improvement continue!

It's amazing how many players have really stepped up this season, and it's not just the young'uns. We've seen improvement in Moore, McVeigh, Bevan & Jack (Though it's not so much improvement with Jack, as he hasn't played much football) but I've also noticed Ted has stepped up and Jude seems to be back to his "servicable" best.

If Hall can have a big 2nd half to the season, then we're really in for a good ride! I'll hesitate to get too excited, but it's looking promising for now and for the future.

One left foot pass he did right on to someone's chest was an absolute gem.

Love watching him play. Runs hard and tackles well. Having a great season, but really, there aren't many Swans players who are having a bad season!

Great to watch...love the tackles and the hardness at the man with the pill.

He only played a few games last year and didn't go all that well but i think Roos has given him time to settle in the seniors and the reward is a great addition to the side

Agree he is more that just a tagger

He's taller than Crouch and nearly as heavy. How big was/is Willo?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

He's a little beauty is Jack.He sticks to his man as well as any other defender I can think off but he also has the ability to turn a defensive gain into a quality inside 50 for our forwards. He doesn't just blast away either. He carries the ball until he spots someone up forward and delivers a clean pass.Something else that impresses is that although he is small for a backman he can play much taller and doesn't seem to get fazed.
I think this kid will play alot of games for the Swans.....he's a little beauty.

I watched K in the Under 18 and thought he was like his father in many ways (I was a big fan of his way back when) but somewhat different in actual size. Looks like the footy gods have compacted all that ability into a very neat mobile packet. He has great concentration, as well as a great run and of course his tackle is quick and neat, strong. Noticed his delivery can be like a dart. Think we are on a winner here Swannies.

Agree with this - that play against WCE after he beat Kerr was superb.
Has he ever got caught HTB? I can't remember one.
