    Aftermatch

Nice to see the MA Noble aftermatch back and Bradley's efforts in taking over from our own Luffy. And Luffy, he's a bit stricter -- or perhaps tetchier -- than you were, with all the chatterers who drown out what the players are saying...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

We parked at the cross thinking the aftermatch function would be there.
    Bugger.

What a dud the Club Swans is as a venue to go to after the game (whether there's an aftermatch or not).

About 100 punters turned up. There's no replay of the game (they were showing the soccer); there's one barmaid; and they have a duo who sing golden oldies.

Highlights were meeting a lovely young couple from Perth who were at the budgie criminal game and meeting the guys on Scotty's bucks night (or so their Tshirts said).

Other than that, the place "looks" nice, but it has no footy atmosphere.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I was at the MA Noble aftermatch and the amount of background noise was just appalling. Some people were there to listen and some were there just to drink and talk amongst themselves. Brad interviewed three of the Reserve graders (Currie, Faulks and Vesprezmi) and it would have been nice to hear them over the din. Spida seemed to get some quiet when he was interviewed.

Got to agree, all the chatter was bloody annoying.

I admit since they took the Noble Stand Aftermatch away from us things have been pretty boring afterwards. Who can add on the cost of money and time in getting to, from and then home from Kings Cross to their day out. Our mob just can't do it, so we and you miss out completely.

Sorry guys, the Noble Stand Aftermatch is only on if we play a Saturday night game at the SCG. That's all we are allowed under the new regime. Its @@@@ty and mean, but that's what Swans management have decided.

The chatters were a pain, but then they always are! I think we were a bit shy about dragging our chairs right down to the stage front. Should have been a bit better set up, shouda oughta, etc etc etc.

However, doesn't Brad look like his usual self, gorgeous, fit, and wicked, with something crumpled to round off his look. The kids were good, Spida was great, and learned a bit from our new stoppages Coach. A few of our moves make a lot more sense now I know where they are coming from.

Looking forward to our next SCG Sat Night Game, and Aftermatch.
