Your right and they weren't all from the suburbs of Toorak and South Yarra.

Those kids would be in their 50's and 60's so I can only assume they jumped off as quick as they jumped on, because they sure haven't produced the offspring to perpetuate their supporter base.

So true. However, it's no excuse for the backline to be complacent against their mob.

I like Jim Stynes, I like Davey and Wona (he's cool) , but the Supporters are just so into themselves.

Grab as copy of the 87 semi final.

If that doesn't make you hate em, you aren't human.

That's harsh. Didn't the Stinger hang with us and do some Running and fitness work with the boys?

I think I am forced to go with the Ox angle. He's nicely despicable.

I recall going to a game during the 80's and sitting with a mate from Sydney in the members at the MCG and watching us play the Dees. The game was quite close and we were surrounded by the Melbourne supporters complete with leather patches and two piece outfits.
I recall one really silly man who had been rabid when they were in front but as the swans powered over them became increasingly belligerent towards us. He insisted on calling them south and even said we had no right to be sitting in the pavillion.
I have no doubt he and his ilk now find other things to do on footy days and take great pleasure in seeing us thump them whenever or wherever we play them.

Well I sometimes wonder why Willo went to the coaching staff of the Demons over other teams, but it's because of the impossible to hate issue I think.
