    LRT: The experiment has failed

An absolutely awful game tonight. The guy has no idea and has played one decent game in his career. Time to cut him loose.

LRT is doing his job. I thought he was one of our better players tonight. That's not saying a hell of a lot, I must admit, but there are plenty of other players that you should be having a dig at. Anyway, I still rate LRT as a decent player.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

I'm with BSA5. I think only one Swan actually had a good game this evening, but of the rest, LRT was one of the least horrible.

I know it is only a relative term but wouldn't say good on the performance of LRT tonight.

he was bad, but relative some of other players, he wasnt as bad. Did some shonky things, but so did everyone and at least looked like he was putting in. IMO there were an awful lot of pure passengers out there, just along for the ride who only bothered when the ball was in their area.

LRT's biggest problem is that he looks so obviously clueless at times.

The sad thing is that we don't have a lot of other options for key defenders. The fact that Barry is still having to play that role to some extent makes that very clear.

I knew you'd find a positive out of it.

I am not suggesting LRT was a positive. Just surprised that he's being singled out for lambasting above 18 other blokes.

it was sarcasm, admittedly the lowest form of wit, but hey its Sunday morning after one of the worst Swans performances in living memory, and boy there have been a few of them...

when his teammates aren't giving him options to kick to, he simply has no idea what to do with the pill. You cant really blame him for that as his teammates should know to help him out when he's in that situation. His defensive efforts weren't the worst last night - Leo, bevan and malceski were way worse.

I thought he did a goodish job on Cloke..especially considering the amount of ball that was coming down that end . Their work into their forward line was under a lot less pressure than ours but he still held Cloke to respectable figures. He does look awkward but he at least had the body language of someone who was having a go. He wasn't the worst keystone cop/or shoulkd that be best as it is a disparaging thing? Too hard for a Sunday.

One free last night that really, really, really, baffled me was the free LRT gave away to Cloke (I think late in the 3rd qrtr?). What was that free given for? I think the ump explained it as LRT ran straight at him. It just didn't look like a free on the cameras. Can anyone explain it?
