I honestly have no idea what "pigging out the dicky" means. I can't help but think that means he dropped his pants in front of a sow.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Have that picture as my wallpaper.

How do you come back from this? How can the club trust him again? After a player goes to jail for an onfield indiscretion can the swans take a risk?

Roos' voice sounded a bit wobbly in his press conference. Wonder what a "suitable conclusion" means?

Andrew Ireland didn't rule out Hall's career ending on Melbourne radio tonight.

like any club they know whats best.
They obvisously know there are issues that are surrounding him in his personal life, just liek the rest of us, things that happen in our lifes affect our demeanor and what act on a day to day basis.

The club has rightfully stodd him in down in not only the clubs best interests, but also Barry's.

But seriously there was nothing in it, i dont think it was even a full blooded attempt at a punch, to me it intially looked like a fend that when there was no contact the follow through looked like a punch.
Hopefully he will get himself sorted out in the next few weeks and be back.

I also if i were sydney would be asking why is it Hally gets penalised yet he doesn't get the free's for same infringment by the defence. Defenders seem to have a free run on him, hence the built up frustration during the game.

Yes really, you spend most of your life at work and it is amazing how noticeable it is in a working enviroment how well your co workers know when something is not right or what your strenghts and weaknesses are.

I have just some 360 performance appraisals at work and even after only 6 months in the job it is scary how much of the little things people pick up about who you react to certain situations.

Outside of his family, the club and his teammates are very well places to know what is going on and how best to deal with it.

I think the people at work and football clubs don't really have much idea about most people's real life, and more importantly it's arguable whether they know, or will do, what's best.

Barry doesn't strike me as the sort of person to open up about his private life all that much.

Well I for one think it's a pretty stupid answer to the "problem"

May as well just sack him now and move on.....

I'd suggest that (without knowing all that's going on) Barry might be feeling a little let down by the club.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again .... It's astonishing that the club does not have a psychologist on staff.
They would obviously be used now, but also for getting players in the right frame of mind before games etc etc.

If there is a problem, and I would definitely say that lashing out like that when being constantly held and niggled by a players is not a "problem" then help hiom work through it.

He obviously has an anger management issue.
He has before at times, both with the Saints and the Swans, and I think the club owes it to themselves, the staff and supporters to do all they can to help Hall get his head around his problems.

Indefinitely suspending him just send out the message "this is not acceptable, so stop doing, it or piss off"

                            I don't like that.
There are other options for helping out Hall here.
The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.

Staker and Wakelin both wish they could say the same thing.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Can't agree mate. Footy clubs are like family. They are nothing like workplaces whatsoever.
