it was not a rumour...Roo's is a very very smart man...
We should go hard to get him. Offer big money. Make Carlton sweat.....surely they haven't got much room in their salary cap to cater for Judd, Stevens and all their No.1 draft picks as well as giving Fev some big bickies as well?

Yep. Murphy, Gibbs and Stevens are all having massive years, and will be after more money. Waite will probably be after a pay rise as well. With Matthews, Davis, Crouch, Everitt and possibly Hall off our list next year (I wouldn't be surprised if Hall went to boxing soon), we'll have more room than Carlton.
It would be a stupid career move on Fev's part, though.
What do people think about trading Barry Hall?
He's now 31 and we might be able to get 80c on the dollar for him.
His output is way down from what it was 2004-06.
I have been his biggest critic for several season & recall copping a fair bit of abuse for saying the guy had a fairly large attitude problem that he has proven unable to fix.
He hasn't got much time left & may be reticent to leave when his asking power would be diminishing by the second. But I'm sure there may be a club silly enough to want him (Freo for example).
What I would love to see out of this saga is that the Swans start playing Jesse White & Craig Barlow every weeks. These guys are the forwards who will be the future of this club in the next few years NOT Barry Hall. Let's use this negative as a positive what what people should still realise is still very much a rebuilding year.
Still I wish I wasn't so depressed right now. Feel kinda being a Swans fan right now.

These dumb footballers need to either stop dating dumb wannabe models or date more of them and stop confusing lust with love!

Bloods the split whisker has brought kings off thrones. What chance does a briuser from Broadford have? Shakespeare would have written a play about it its so tragic.
The issue isn't about dating bikini models or bust up's with former girlfriends.
The issue is purely that Hall can not control his temper when things on and off the field are not going right.
He needs to be able to seperate his anger from frustration and not throw haymakers when he is frustrated on the field.
Only then will we see him back playing irrespective of who he may or may not be shacked up with.

You don't think they're related?

Hard to speak for someone else, but they wouldn't be related for me.
I've never been in depression, that might be the type of circumstance where they might be related.
I'd love to hear Hall come out and comment on if there is a correlation between the two events or if it's just that he's frustrated with his footy at the moment, or if he's been hasseled more by his opponents or whatever.....
The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.

Sorry JF, but who is Craig Barlow?
