Great line, I use it all the time.
When I was a young bloke doing an apprenticeship in the 70's, one of the other apprentices at work was nicknamed 'Errol' by the tradesman. It wasn't until they explained it to me at a Xmas pissup that I actually knew what it meant.
That said, I don't think it really applies to Minton-Connell.Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

Was unfair. I think he averaged about three goals a match with us. And he played in the losing sides of the early nineties. He was the nephew of Peter Hudson but never rose to his heights. In fact he never rose at all. But he did start the Sydney tradition of the hyphenated footballer.Great line, I use it all the time.

3.7 goals per game, which is actually on a par with Capper and better than any other player since the move to Sydney (barring Plugger, of course). Was unfair. Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

And consider we had Jason Daniels and Ben Doolan in the midfield back then (though admittedly we had Watters, Kelly, Cressa and Kappler as well).
He was the main target, though, with only Strooper in '92. In '93 the other main forward was Osborne, then in '94 it was Lewis and Kickett.
The only thing that doesn't really stand up is his accuracy.Comment
