Round 15 - Hawthorn

Last week's poll was the first time this year that no-one - friend or foe - picked the result.

This week's game against the Hawks will be interesting, to say the least. They haven't beaten us since Round 19, 2003 at the SCG, and haven't really looked like doing so, although they did get close last year at the MCG.

Can we put Episode II of the Barry Hall saga behind us and win? I hate to say it, but something tells me our run of wins against the Hawks will come to an end this week. Hawthorn by 18 points (please prove me wrong!)

The Swans flogged the Hawks without Hall and can beat them again without Hall. Goodes will return and hopefully has an impact on the game. Franklin and Roughead will need to be taken care of, but winning possession and controlling the midfield would limit their influence on the game.

And, for a bit of fun - if you are near the Hawthorn cheer squad this may annoy them. They do their usual chant fairly often: HAW - THORN! *clap-clap-clap*

I think their chant may be more amusing if it went more like this: HAW - THORN! poos - and - wees!

Now since they are not likely to supply the missing words, we should supply them instead. So if you are near the Hawforn cheer squad and they start this chant, be sure to help them out by supplying the "missing" words.

It will either annoy them or crack them up.
