    All downhill from here?

Was last Sat the first in a run of outs against top teams that will see the Bloods settle at 6, 7 or 8 and miss out on the Top 4 leverage?

If we lose to Hawthorn and Carlton (yes...it could happen!!) and other favoured teams win, then our 6 point buffer is gone!!

Can anyone recall when we last beat the Crows? (Serious question!)

Well i must agree..i dont think we have what it takes to be top 8...our 6 in a row were games we shud of won anyways...but now look at the run home..much much harder..we lack the desire to win..just look at the melb game, cellar dwellers and we barely beat them..

As for Carlton i have predicted all year that they might finish top 8,,and if they do watch out for them....under rated side...

Maybe but the teams behind us still effectively have to win 2 more than us out of the next 8 games and when you consider a lot of the 8 play each other we may still finish 4th. I believe we can beat Hawthorn (maybe that is optimistic), Carlton, Adelaide, Fremantle, Brisbane so maybe all is not lost yet.

You should do what I do ... take it one week at a time.

I've said it in another thread and I'll say it here.

Hold your fire until after this week. This game will be the tell tale.

Personally I think we will win the run home except for Geelong and the Bulldogs (well we are 50/50 of taking out the doggies)

                Rd 15, 2004. An ugly game - 8.10.58 - 6.9.45.

                Before that rd 16, 2001.

We've won just 1 of the past 9 games.

It tends to get a bit repetitive and boring doesn't it?

Sheesh. I expected us to be in a worser position than we are now at this time of the year ... not as bad as the budgie criminals, but more just "making up the numbers".

I'm pretty pleased with the way we're travelling.

A lot of that is related to the teams we have played. If we'd had the 'easy' run last year that we've had in the first part of the season, we would have been 8-1-5 at rd 14, compared to 9-1-4 this year and 7-0-7 last year.

I remember that one. I also remember the return fixture the next year and saying to a mate, " well it can't be a worse game than last year". It was. equally boring, and we lost

pre season, i thought we would finish 6-10, FWIW,

Sorry mate, you can't make assumptions like that.

Well you can. It's a reflection of how we're travelling by taking into account the quality of teams we have beaten.
