Next year...Collingwood BEFORE the break ???

When the Swans put in their 'wishlist' for the draw, I reckon we should insist on playing Collingwood in the first week of the split round.

It may be completely psychological, but we have played the Pies 5 games running now in the split round and always after a weeks break and played like crap.

Absolutely no reason why it can't be scheduled in the week leading up to the break.

    Thoughts?

I suggested this on Saturday night after I came home in the game thread.

The ferals fans will follow them wherever they go ... what's the big diff if they swap the game??

Can't see the AFL wanting to take it away from the stand alone game on Saturday night week II.

            I can't see why not.

You'd think the "other" teams would be vying for the "blockbuster".

It can still be the stand alone game, but in Week 1.

They should have a proper split round with 4 games on each weekend. It is stupid how it is now.

                  I agree.

I'd prefer it myself. I'd just like to see the Swans/Wobbles game to be on the first Sat night.
