What I'd like to see first bounce, round 1, 2009:
Spida provides a clean tap to Ben Cousins, who surprisingly for a Swan actually attacks the ball and doesn't dive on it or his opponent, and kicks long to a leading Brendan Fevola. Fev marks.
Ignoring a gut busting lead from Nick Davis (some things have to remain the same), Fevola goes back and calmly slots a goal from 40 metres out - again strange for a Swan forward to be kicking so straight."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

I was hugely against it with the assumption we would have Hall.
Now that there is an element of uncertainty to that, I can see where they're coming from. We just don't have the quality available after Hall and O'Loughlin for a key forward position - and with O'Loughlin near the end (and not great when he did play that role himself), that is a huge worry.
However, at what cost? I don't think Fev is worth the money being bandied about, especially as we'd be paying over the odds to move him from his current side.
Add to that having to come up with a trade, and it's a massive price to pay for a 27-year-old.Comment

Sorry, we have enough trouble in Sydney with the yobbos pee-ing in the streets ... we don't need the king of the yobs to help them along.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment
