No way was that worth 4 weeks.
It didn't look like forceful contact to the head, and to me he was protecting himself.
Maybe a bit careless, and worth maybe 1 - 2.

I agree Jeffers. Had that connected, Goodes would be out 4+ weeks too.
I didnt think Buchanans was even intended. He would have trampled/kicked the player on the ground had he not changed course. Or I could just be naive?He ate more cheese, than time allowedComment

The one where the umpire gave Goodes a real talking-to (2nd quarter at a secondary bounce in the square if I recall rightly), it was apparent from the reverse angle replay that he made a real effort (at least by his standards) to get lower, and he baulked a little before contact.Comment

Yeah goodes has to grow up, it shocked me when i saw him try and hit that guy would of thought he had learnt his lesson..
