    Leo 4 yr deal?

    Is Leo taking the proverbial with this comment on afl.com.au, I rate him, but at 31..you dont get 4 year deals...unless you are.....(Lance Franklin in 10 years time).

    If he is joking....ignore me!

                  The 10 year deal could incorporate playing on for a year, three years as the runner, three years as the backline coach and three years as assistant coach !!

                      A hamstring injury ruled the reliable defender out of six games in the back half of 2007, but Barry still finished equal seventh in the club's best and fairest.

                      The 184-cm defender has played all 15 games this season, averaging over 16 possessions and almost seven marks per game.

                      The Swans' have conceded 1142 points, the lowest in the league, with Barry, Marty Mattner and Tadhg Kennelly starring down back for most of the season.

                      "I'm still feeling really fresh and contributing to the team and I still feel I want to continue playing," Barry said.

                      "I'm pushing for a four year deal at the moment," he added with a smile.
                      "As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
