Hmph... The way he's playing, he doesn't deserve a spot in the team let alone be wrapped in cotton wool and protected especially for the finals...

I think he's problem is lack of match fitness, not overwork. Not sure the cotton wool approach is whats needed at the minute.

I think maybe that revolsnaws, means put him on ice, and save him for the finals, so he can play the 3 or 4 games of his life and then retire, hopefully, a very happy man.

But he'd need to lift his game quite substaintailly from where he is ATM.

I also think Keating was quite a bit younger the Spida when Brisbane played him in the finals.

Spida was pretty important in getting us over the line against the Eagles. He's been pretty ordinary in all other games though.

He needs game time and plenty of it - not another rest.

LRT got a fair old pizzling for last week's game but surely he does more around the ground as a ruckman than Everitt. Everitt's effort in the back pocket late in the game was quite embarassing.

Everitt gets the taps at contests but to what advantage. Hawthorn took it away with ease. All LRT has to do is give as much in a contest and surely he must be more value, and he doesn't have to contest with a forward he is way too agile for him.

LRT is young and much quicker V Everitt slow and poor disposal and neglible value to the side.

Everitt is hurting us at the moment. Either LRT, or give Currie a run if he is ready.

I would be willing to give Everitt another game or so to see if he comes good, otherwise I think he is finished

Everitt always seems to take a while to get going after missing. He'll have to find form against the Blues young rucks or else he'll be brooding in the back of the bus to the boondocks.

Jumbucks and LRT in the ruck would be an improvement over Jums and Petered Out? rucking and, on current form, LRT defending.
I was wrong about Gerard and his hair.

We don't have one. I've been saying for a couple of seasons it is a standout weakness in our game. You can hardly call playing stoppers and plodders at centre bounces developing or finding a ball magnet.

That's why I wouldn't be surprised if they target Keer in trade week.

Cousins and Kerr at Sydney. We'd be the East Coast Eagles.

It would be great to get some drive out of the centre though wouldn't it?
