Matty O...what you will and won't get.

You'll get a beautiful mover. He has a real long stride and moves across the ground like a panther. I know I've seen similar type players, but struggling to think of one at the minute, maybe Jared Brennan (in movement, not size) but somebody will think of a good one.

You'll get somebody who has yet to pull out of a contest in any game I have seen him in the past 2 years. He's not real solid, but has plenty of ticker.

You'll get a guy with the proportionally longest legs in the team. I think he got what Monty and Bulldog missed out on. If he was female he'd be a sensation in a mini-skirt.

You WON'T get a player who dives into packs and locks it up. He relies on somebody to get it to him and he will find space if given half a chance.

Unfortunately, you WON'T get pinpoint passes. His disposal whilst not real terrible is unreliable and if you are not prepared to forgive the lad for the occasional turnover you'll be disappointed.

Liz, ORB, Ugg any other 2's watchers, anything to add? Do u agree?

Why is he in the team then?

Sooooo, let me get this straight.
            1. He moves beautifully. What does that mean? I take it, that doesn't mean quick...

            2. He never shirks a contest, but also doesn't get his own ball

            3. His disposal is suspect.

Doesn't sound great at AFL level if you ask me.
Sorry, not trying to be overly negative, and I haven't seen him play, but especially the last point gives me cause for concern. Turnovers are so costly against the top teams.

Good summation Triple. The only thing I'd add is that you'll also see a player who has become very strong overhead in the past year. It wasn't something I particularly noticed about his game last year but this year it's been a real feature of his game. Don't expect Burton style flying marks but expect to see him run to a midfield contest, time a jump from behind to perfection, stretch himself upwards, pluck the ball from the grasp of an opponent and - most importantly - hold onto it.

Also expect to see him take on players with run and carry and sometimes get caught. It will be interesting to see how he adapts his decision making to the faster pace and higher intensity of senior footy.

No he is quick. Not Davey, Rioli, Lovett quick but probably quicker than every other player who'll pull on a Swans jumper on Saturday afternoon other than maybe Jack, Goodes and a fit version of Kennelly.

Nothing to add to TripleB's detailed description.

That's the big question for me. Hopefully he doesn't go down the path of recent debutants and get played out of position.

I think he might have been brought in for the purpose of run and carry.

If he was female he'd be a sensation in a mini-skirt.

He can still look good in a mini. Long strides up and down Oxford Street.

Was wrapped to see MOD finally get a game.
We shouldn't expect too much from him as it is a big jump up from the two's.
He has heaps of pace and we need that against the blueboys.
